Located north of the sunsent blvd. at the border between los angeles and west hollywood this renovation of a 1930’s house commisioned by a developer targets towards the entretainment segment characteristic of the sunset strip area. The new “lofty” spatial configuration connects a 2400 sf of built area and an exterior pool/entretainment deck of 1300 sf by means of oversized windows, sliding doors and terraces.
The building has been stripped out of uneccesary formal gestures and reduced to a subtle composition modifying the shell in order to respond to the southern exposure and to emphasize the horizontality of the hillside lot where it is located.
